How a donation works on this site

From choosing a fundraiser to the receipt in your hand, here is exactly what happens and what the Trust does with the money.

  1. Choose a fundraiser

Every page shows the goal, the amount raised from confirmed payments, photos, documents and the Trust's updates.

  2. Pay through Razorpay

Pick an amount and enter your name and mobile number. The Razorpay window takes UPI, cards, netbanking and wallets; your payment details never reach this site.

  3. Get your receipt, follow the work

The payment is verified on the server, the total updates, and a receipt page opens that you can download. Updates are posted on the same fundraiser page.

Good to know

Do I need an account?

No. Some fundraisers ask you to verify your mobile number with a one-time code before paying; that is the only sign-in on the site.

What if the payment fails?

Nothing is recorded and you are not charged. If money was debited anyway, the bank or Razorpay reverses it, usually within 5 to 7 working days. See the donation and refund policy.

Can I give directly by UPI or bank transfer?

Where the Trust has enabled it, the fundraiser page shows a UPI QR code and bank details. Direct transfers are not counted automatically; the Trust adds them after reconciling its bank statement.

Is my donation tax deductible?

The receipt is an acknowledgement of a voluntary contribution, not a tax exemption certificate. Ask the Trust before claiming any benefit; its published tax status is on the About page.

How does the Trust decide what to work on?

Projects are set up by the Trust's administrators. Anyone can propose a cause; proposals are reviewed and are not published until the Trust approves them.
